As the sky leaks
a drop at a time
from its container,
the vanishing point

vanishes, then
reappears disguised
as a half-hearted
belief in the

efficacy of concerted
effort.  A janitor
assigned the task
of sweeping up the

scattered bits of
broken laws resigns.
