HABIT
Anchored in mother
bone, yet more than
mere meat hanging
from an idea,
I stand alone next
to ungodly ago
and numbing
sheets of same.
I carry my average
violin with me
everywhere I go,
disappearing into an
ancient cave that
remembers how to be there.
